Some say that I live a sheltered life, I don't, I only live a hopeful life. I don't know what tomorrow may bring, and I don't want to know, I am content with letting things happen as they should knowing that whatever happens will ultimately change me for the better. But it saddens me to see so many people with no hope, no purpose in life, so many that just go along with what society says is ok, and is acceptable because they feel that it won't change. And it's true it won't change if there's no one willing to try and change it. Nothing will happen if people hide their head in the sand, saying 'It's what happens, it's what people do.' It may be what people do but it shouldn't be.
My life used to horrible, I was mad at God and therefore I didn't believe in Him, silly how I thought that if I didn't believe in Him he'd just disappear. And since I believed there was no God then there really was no purpose to live. Let me tell it's a very depressing life. But because of all the bad things that have happened I ended up meeting up with a great guy, and making new and wonderful friends and finding a loving family, didn't matter that they arn't blood relatives all that mattered was that they cared, and then the best thing to ever happen to me happened, God found me, or better yet I found God, cuz he had never lost me He knew exactly where I was and what was happening to me, and I know it hurt Him to watch me go through it but He knew that in the end it would be best for me, it would make me stronger, it would make me a better person.
I've found my purpose in life, I don't know what career I'm gonna go into, I don't know what's gonna happen with the rest of my life I just know I was put here for a reason; I was put here to help others, to love others and to love God.
We Christians have all been told that we live a sheltered life, that we are intolerant of other's beliefs, that we are hypocrites who can't even follow the rules as we've been saying others should. We live a life of hope, we are not intolerant if you can show us why you believe what you do and be consistant, show us that it's true beyond a shadow of a doubt then we will believe you. But also are we ask that if we can show you why something is wrong, why we believe what we believe, then we hope that you would live like you should and believe in God. It's true there are some who call themselves Christians yet still act like the world they are not practcing Christians. And also yes we Christians do make mistakes, everyone does, but we strive to better ourselves, we do not wallow in our sins.
I know most of those who read this will not get to the end and all I can do is pray for them, and those who did finish this I commend you, and I apologize for being seemingly inchorerant at times in my writing, and I hope that it struck a chord or even just got you to thinking, I'll pray for you as well. I pray that you'll all come to know the happiness I do.
